For this global release, every frame was built on the foundation of sound. A custom-crafted soundscape—created entirely from Stratus cymbals—set the stage for stunning visuals, bringing the essence of the instrument to life. Developed in close collaboration with SABIAN and the Ginger Agency, this launch was all about pushing creative limits and making some noise.

In the spring of 2023, we got the chance to help launch Stratus, an exciting new product line from SABIAN. The brief? Capture the simple complexity of the instrument, challenge the industry through abstraction, and take the sound to new heights. No pressure.

We kicked things off with a deep dive into 3D animation—finding a visual style that honored the Stratus brand identity while also giving us room to push boundaries. But when sound is your subject, why stop at the visuals?

SABIAN handed over a full lineup of Stratus cymbals, and our audio engineers got to work, using unconventional recording techniques to build a soundscape entirely from scratch. The back-and-forth between Ginger Agency and Accomplice made for a seamless collaboration, where sound shaped the visuals, and visuals sparked new sonic ideas.

The final video struck all the right notes—earning praise from the agency, SABIAN, and distributors from LA to Japan. But more importantly, it resonated with the people who matter most: musicians, fans, and sound obsessives around the world.
